Daniel is the Kentucky-born & raised Korean (yes, you read that right) who grew up in the family restaurant industry deep within the bluegrass state. Ever determined, Daniel made his way to Chicago where in the last 16+ years built his career in a variety of sectors including brand & product marketing, production, integrated campaigns, digital, account, project management, creative, operations & new business.

Starting his career at Marketing Werks, he managed & executed a broad portfolio for brands like Walgreens, SONY PlayStation, Verizon Wireless/Telecom & most notably the Air National Guard.

Several years later, Daniel joined the ranks of FCB where he dove head first into a managerial & leadership role for his clients. Cross-collaborating across a variety of departments, Daniel led, supported & executed several campaigns ranging from CPG & industry giants to pharmaceutical brands & non-profits.

Since then, Daniel has continued to bring success to brands such as ALDI, Anheuser-Busch, Boeing, Blue Bunny, CenturyLink, Dove Chocolate & RXBAR. However, his proudest achievement came in form of two Lions (gold & bronze) & 5 Shortlists at Cannes and several Pencil awards at D&AD for his work with the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. In 2021, he joined The Marketing Arm leading total marketing & media initiatives across 54 states & territories for the Army National Guard as part of a Team DDB IAT.

Daniel is the always positive, not-afraid-to-get-his-hands-dirty, ultimate team player who values fostering relationships & creating connections. Additionally, he is an avid investment & economist hobbyist with a passion in photography, technology & following industry trends.
